1) soya or soybean
Soya is a crop with low oil content. The oil content of bean is about 11-20%. At normal condition, the moisture is about 13-14% (North area may have lower moisture). Before pressing, soya beans need cleaning and removing impurities. The flowchart is as the following:
1. hot press: selecting & cleaning----crushing----softening---flacking--- cooking(steam heating, etc)-----pressing----filtering
Operation Instruction: Soya beans are selected by sieve with 12 mesh, which make the impurity content of material less than 0.1%. When crushing, the beans should be broken into 2 to 4 pieces. Then soften the beans for 40-50 minutes when the moisture content reach 15% more or less. Then to flake the material. Then cook the material to 110-120 degree. Add 2-3% water when cooking. The cakes are controlled at 1-1.5mm.
2). cold press
Beans can also be pressed directly without crushing and cooking, which is called cold press. Cold press need to pay attention to control moisture of raw material at 8-10% exactly. The whole granule of soy beans can be put into oil press directly when the temperature of machine body reach 80 centigrade degree at least. Pay attention to that the machine must run empty for a while before feeding to obtain higher temperature in chamber of oil press.
How to detect the moisture of soy beans by operator. If the soybean can be bitten broken by incisor teeth and flat by cheek tooth, the moisture of soybean is suitable for press with the surace of soybean crack and have light sound. If only flat withouht crack, the moisture is too high. If only crach with loud sound, the material is too dry. The material need to be adjusted at appropriate moisture before pressing.
